What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead proposal development from initial RFP through to submission, ensuring competitive and comprehensive bids
  • Prepare accurate BOQs, scope breakdowns, and subcontractor packages
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities to ensure proposals deliver superior value
  • Drive competitive pricing strategies and assess trade coverage across multiple sectors
  • Co-ordinate tender teams including commercial, finance, estimators, proposal writers and subject matter experts
  • Contribute to risk analysis and design development during Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phases
  • Monitor tender portals to identify new business opportunities in public and private sectors

 

What We're Looking For 
Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' estimating experience in construction or heavy industrial sectors
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology, cost planning, and subcontractor markets
  • Proven track record of contributing to the estimation and winning of large-scale construction projects
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar discipline
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Autonomous working style - you thrive in fast-paced pre-construction environments
  • Flexibility and adaptability - open to different approaches and ways of working
 
Highly Regarded:
  • Experience with P&L and/or business operations
  • Ability to easily adjust to changing circumstances and challenges
